Gojob: Hello Ségolène, could you introduce yourself and tell us about your role?
Ségolène: Hello, I’m Ségolène Fort, Human Resources Development Manager at Nature & Découvertes, in charge of stores and logistics.
Gojob: What are the recruitment challenges for Nature & Découvertes, particularly during seasonal periods?
Ségolène: From an HR point of view, one of the major challenges is recruitment in a retail company, particularly during seasonal periods, i.e. the end-of-year period, when business is very intense, both in the stores and in the warehouse.
Gojob: How does Gojob support you in these recruitments?
Ségolène: Gojob supports us in the recruitment of different profiles, for our stores, for positions such as guide-advisor, host and hostess, handler, and for the logistics warehouse, for all the positions of forklift truck driver, order picker, e-commerce agent, etc. We are also involved in the recruitment of new employees, for example, in the field of logistics. To support the managers, we decided to work with Gojob to relieve them of all the recruitment and administrative management of this staff, whether for the stores or the logistics warehouse.
Gojob: Gojob uses generative AI. How does this impact the recruitment process?
Ségolène: Gojob uses generative AI to respond to its customers’ needs, which enables us to process all our requirements throughout France and to process more than 2 million applications per year, thus providing us with a huge number of CVs to meet our recruitment needs. AI makes it possible to process applications more efficiently and to relieve recruitment managers of all pre-selection and sorting tasks, but of course the intervention of the employee in fine remains important, and this is still the case at Gojob. What’s more, Gojob’s ethics committee is reassuring, since with the use of AI, it gives us the security we need to strike the right balance between the use of AI and the intervention of collaborators.
Gojob: What concrete benefits have you observed since the beginning of this collaboration?
Ségolène: Since the beginning of the collaboration, I have observed a simplification of the recruitment process. In concrete terms, for stores, we are also seeing greater flexibility and the ability to replace absent staff very quickly.
Gojob: Are there any other important aspects of this partnership that you’d like to mention?
Ségolène: And the icing on the cake is that Gojob is B-Corp certified, like Nature & Découvertes, so we speak the same language. And particularly in terms of CSR, Gojob contributes to our rate of hiring disabled staff by introducing us to employees who have been granted the RQTH.
